Role
Who you are
- 4+ years backend development experience building production-grade systems (hopefully with Python)
- 4+ years experience with modern frontend development including expertise in React or similar frameworks
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Solid experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling
- Deep knowledge of computer science including (but not limited to): Operating Systems, Algorithms, Concurrency and Data Structures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices- a plus
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts and ML system integration- a plus

- You will be part of the Popular Pays team, where we're revolutionizing how brands connect with creators and influencers through our innovative all-in-one platform
- Our team is building technology that transforms traditional influencer marketing into a seamless, data-driven experience, enhanced by cutting-edge generative AI capabilities
- Each team member plays a crucial role in shaping our product, from crafting intuitive user interfaces to developing robust backend systems that power thousands of successful brand-creator collaborations
- Owning end-to-end feature development - from designing scalable backend services to crafting intuitive UI components
- Brainstorming feature design, system architecture improvements and troubleshooting
- Building and integrating cutting-edge generative AI capabilities into our products through APIs and custom implementations
- Writing clean, maintainable and testable code, and inspiring others to do the same
- Mentoring junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance
