Role
Who you are
- Deep Engineering experience in a related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and proven experience deploying machine learning or AI solutions into production environments
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data stacks
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical work into measurable financial impact as well as to communicate it
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and taking full ownership of outcomes
- Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy
What the job involves
- We are looking for our first Forward Deployed Engineer to be embedded with RELEX fastest-growing market
- You will be the technical face of RELEX Fresh to grocery retailers, combining engineering ability with real customer presence
- As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own high-impact AI deployments from pre-sales to production. You will work directly with customers, ensuring our solutions deliver measurable business outcomes
- Own customer Proof of Concepts (POCs) end-to-end, from scoping and technical design to validation and measurable ROI
- Manage multiple parallel pilots, ensuring clear timelines, stakeholder alignment, and strong conversion to long-term partnerships
- Partner closely with Sales to translate business needs into technical solutions and support deal closing
- Collaborate with Engineers to deliver production-ready AI
- Deploy machine learning applications (forecasting, optimization, automated decision-making) into live customer environments
