Role
Who you are
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the technology sector
- Strong understanding of the technology regulatory landscape
- Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with regulators
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with regulatory environments in multiple jurisdictions, particularly in the U.S. and Europe
What the job involves
- Develop and implement global compliance programs tailored to technology regulations, including digital platform, artificial intelligence, video, and social media regulations
- Build and maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance efforts, including policies, procedures, and training materials
- Monitor and analyze regulatory trends to identify potential impacts on the organization and recommend proactive measures
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key regulators, including ongoing dialogue and collaboration
- Establish key metrics to measure and demonstrate compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Track and report on the progress of compliance initiatives
- Provide legal guidance to internal teams on best practices for compliance
- Partner with Government Affairs to identify areas for joint efforts in engaging with regulators
