Role
Who you are
- Strong background in generative AI models such as Stable Diffusion or similar frameworks
- Experience with texture/material generation for 3D assets
- Expertise in 3D modeling tools and pipelines (Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.)
- Solid understanding of computer vision applications in gaming
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in leading engineering teams or managing projects is a plus
Desirable
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI services and deployment strategies
- Contributions to open-source projects in AI or gaming
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead AI Engineer with expertise in 3D modeling and generative AI technologies, such as Stable Diffusion
- You will spearhead the development of AI-driven solutions for creating realistic 3D models, textures, and environments
- Lead the design and development of generative AI models for 3D content creation
- Work with platforms like Blender, Unity, and Unreal Engine to integrate AI-driven solutions
- Build pipelines for realistic textures, materials, and animation generation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, artists, and game developers to ensure seamless implementation of AI capabilities
- Drive innovation in generative AI technologies to optimize workflow and improve gaming experiences
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence
Our take
Blitz is providing a platform for online multiplayer gaming, with a specific focus on competitive gameplay. Founded in 2019 by a team of former eSport professionals and game developers, Blitz was created with the goal of developing a more streamlined and accessible way for gamers to compete in their favorite games.
The platform supports a range of popular games, including Apex Legends, League of Legends, and Valorant, among others. As well as offering a variety of features, including automated matchmaking, live stat tracking, and a leaderboard system that allows gamers to compete for prizes and recognition, Blitz is enhancing the competitive gaming experience.
Over the years Blitz has secured a number of partnerships with several of the world's leading gaming companies, including Riot Games and Epic Games, and most recently announced it would be partnering with Avalanche to bring its platform to the world of Web3. With Avalanche emerging as a leader in game development, this is a critical time for the acceleration of Blitz' platform.
