Who you are
- You have several years of professional experience in the sales customer area, ideally in e-commerce
- You can manage relationships proactively
- You have experience as a key account manager in IT-related areas and can identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- You have a good technical understanding and have already worked successfully with CRM systems (e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce)
- You impress with your confident demeanor, your strong argumentation skills, and a high degree of empathy
- You are business fluent in German and English; further language skills would be an advantage (Dutch, Italian or Polish)
What the job involves
- We are a leading e-commerce company looking for a dedicated Customer Relation Manager (m/f/d) to join our team
- After Closing, you'll come into play and use your extensive skills and experience to take our After Sales to a new level!
- That's why we are looking for a Customer Relation Manager (m/f/d) throughout Europe who will work with us to take customer satisfaction to a new level
- You are responsible for the care and support of Shopware "Beyond" customers in a personal and proactive 1:1 relationship (weekly, monthly, CFR, and quarterly meetings)
- You are a direct contact person for inquiries via phone (direct dial), ticket, mail, or WhatsApp "for Business"
- You design the onboarding process for new customers
- You will attend industry trade shows to cultivate relationships and network and build long-term strategic partnerships with Shopware's top 200 customers
- You will work to increase sales through churn rates and targeted cross-sell, upsell, and renewal campaigns
- You are the interface to internal specialists in the areas of marketing, support, and finance as a stakeholder for existing customers
Our take
The eCommerce boom in recent years has shown no signs of slowing down, and Shopware is capturing the opportunity. The company offers a set of open source tools to power the online shopping experience for hundreds of thousands of brands.
There are of course competitors, like Shopify Plus, but Shopware has stood out for serving mid-market companies that were not digitally-native businesses but had to take on digital channels to keep up with customer demand. This, combined with the obvious increase in brands and companies needing help when eCommerce became more mainstream, has served Shopware particularly well.
Founded in 2000, the company only received its first round of funding in 2022. Until then, it had been profitable off its own back. This capital and support from, among others, Carlyle and PayPal will be invested in its international growth.
