Who you are
- Have 7+ years of experience in technical program management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical programs, preferably involving cloud platforms and AI technologies
- Have strong understanding of cloud computing architectures, AI/ML deployment, and integration challenges
- Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to influence without authority and build cross-organizational support
- Have a high threshold for navigating ambiguity and ability to balance strategic priorities with rapid, high-quality execution

What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to support our critical cloud deployments
- In this role you will be an execution owner, driving coordination and collaboration across multiple engineering teams
- You will also support the collaboration and technical execution between our internal engineering teams and our major cloud partners, specifically Amazon Bedrock and GCP Vertex AI
- Your primary focus will be on ensuring tight coordination on engineering deliverables both within our internal teams and between our partner teams, enabling repeatable and efficient product development and launch pipelines for our AI models on third-party platforms
- You will be responsible for aligning a range of business and technical stakeholders to drive execution of technical roadmaps, with a particular emphasis on optimizing our presence and performance
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to define, scope, and sequence major technical initiatives and projects related to cloud partnerships and AI model deployment
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resourcing strategies for technical projects and initiatives
- Establish scalable program management frameworks, playbooks, and best practices for external technical partnerships
- Lead cross-functional coordination and planning for complex engineering projects, acting as the liaison between internal teams and external cloud partners
- Own relationships with key stakeholders at large-scale cloud providers, partnering to develop and execute shared technical roadmaps
- Provide clear and transparent reporting on program status, issues, and risks to executives and stakeholders
- Foster a culture of accountability, rigor, and continuous improvement in technical program management
Our take
Funded by Google and founded by ex-OpenAI employees, Anthropic is an AI company focused on building a reliable, innovative AI system. While the company is relatively new to the market it has already launched a highly anticipated AI chat assistant called Claude which is set to rival OpenAI's ChatGPT.
Similar to other chatbots, Claude is accessible through a chat interface and can provide a number of conversation and text-processing tasks. A key point of differentiation is that Claude is designed to produce less harmful outputs than that of the other chatbots that came before it.
While there is much praise for the chat assistant, there is still room for improvement with feedback reporting that Claude is worse at maths and grammar compared to its rival. However, with industry giants like Google backing this company from an early stage, it is clear Anthropic has the potential to become a leading player within the AI industry.
