What the job involves
- Our team is seeking a Growth Product Manager to drive the adoption and expansion of AI-powered solutions that help legal teams generate better documents, negotiate smarter, and achieve justice for their clients faster
- In this role, you will own growth strategy and execution, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization
- You'll work closely with engineers, designers, machine learning researchers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, run experiments, and scale impactful solutions
- Your leadership will be crucial in expanding our product’s reach and maximizing the value it delivers to users
- Understand internal and external user needs through qualitative and quantitative approaches; use your deep user understanding to build new products and features that are broadly and deeply adopted by users
- Apply cutting-edge AI capabilities to a wide swathe of user problems
- Collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers, designers, data scientists, machine learning researchers, and others to ship high-quality features, with high velocity
- Collaborate with highly-skilled leaders across product marketing, sales, customer success, and operations to ensure seamless user experiences during new feature launches and customer onboardings, using feedback to refine designs continuously
- Influence company strategy; translate strategy into tactics; execute on tactics with a high degree of accountability and velocity in cross-functional sprints
Our take
Every year, millions of personal injury cases in the US are resolved with only a small fraction going to trial, leaving many victims potentially under-compensated due to inaccurate settlement proposals. EvenUp aims to change this by leveraging AI technology to streamline the assessment of injury cases.
The AI tools evaluate raw case files, including medical and police records, creating tailored "demand packages" that present comprehensive compensation arguments. This improves lawyer performance and victim outcomes.
Despite concerns about AI bias and privacy, EvenUp has garnered significant investor interest, closing a funding round in 2024 that was one of the largest in the history of legal AI. Now valued at over $1 billion, it is investing in its team and introducing new techniques and products for personal injury and other legal areas.
