Company mission
To make the law more open and accessible.
Role
Who you are
- Radical empathy for the legal professional: You have an innate ability to get inside our user's head. You understand what frustrates them, what they value (time, rigor) and what scares them
- A translator of complexity: You can take an advanced AI feature and explain it not by the technology it uses, but by the problem it solves
- Outstanding storytelling skills: You don't just communicate, you build a narrative that hooks. You are an exceptional copywriter
- No fear of the camera: You feel comfortable hosting webinars and recording yourself for product communications. The camera is just another tool of your trade, not an obstacle
- Builder mindset: You don't just design the strategy, you write the copy, build the nurturing flow, record the webinar and craft the battlecard. You are relentlessly execution-oriented
- Mastery of AI and tools: You use AI and the marketing stack daily to multiply your output
- Professional English and Spanish: Mandatory. Spanish is essential for this role, since you'll research the Spanish market and analyze local competitors and English is to work with the wider Doctrine team across our international group
- Proven experience: You have demonstrable experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in a Product Marketing or Strategic Marketing role
- Organization, autonomy and critical thinking: You can manage multiple projects (a launch, a webinar and a success story) in parallel without losing focus
What the job involves
- Go-to-Market: You'll build and execute all GTM collateral for Maite’s product launches on the Spanish markets: product emails, website updates, visuals, LinkedIn campaigns, webinars, in-product communications, ads
- Positioning & Messaging: You'll be the person who best understands perceived value from Spanish clients' perspective. You'll translate that into the Maite website, customer testimonials, landing pages, and brochures
- Product Enablement: Working hand-in-hand with our international sales enablement manager, you'll develop and update sales tools (pitch decks, demo flows, objection handling, battlecards). You'll co-run product training sessions for the Spanish sales team and close the feedback loop on the commercial playbook
- Market Intelligence: You'll be the go-to expert on the Spanish legal market: competitors, personas, buying dynamics. You'll own the creation and maintenance of Spanish battlecards and personas, and you'll synthesize market signals into actionable insight for both the product and sales teams
- Content Creation: Create specific content pieces (articles, one-pagers, videos, emails, FAQs) that sustain Maite.ai's narrative across every channel
- Webinars & Video Communication: Design, host and record webinars and product communications. We are looking for someone who isn't afraid to get in front of the camera, and enjoys it
- User Education: Working with Product and Growth, you'll make sure Spanish users adopt and activate the full range of Maite’s features through targeted campaigns and in-app actions
- Performance: You'll define what a successful Product launch looks like, that framework doesn't fully exist yet and building it is part of the job. Then you'll track, iterate, and maximize the impact of everything you ship
Application process
- A 30-min intro call with one of our Talent Acquisition Managers to understand your career goals and walk you through what we're building

- One technical assessments to evaluate your skills in practice
- An office visit including: lunch with 3 people from different teams to give you a feel for your future colleagues; a values conversation to share our vision; and a meeting with the VP of your department
Our take
Doctrine was founded to democratise access to French case law, quickly becoming France's leading AI-powered egal intelligence platform. Today, it indexes millions of court decisions, aids over 16,000 legal professionals across France, Italy, and Germany, and offers AI-driven insights.
France’s LegalTech sector is booming relative to the rest of the world, enjoying high growth. Doctrine is performing particularly well within it, high labour costs, and a difficult financial climate for this sector means few legaltech startups make it to Series A funding. This means Doctrine have made it to a neat and potentially highly lucrative market niche, and given its regionally specific expertise it’s not one they’re likely to see threatened by international competitors.
The most popular legaltech tools, like Westlaw Edge and Lex Machina, perform similar productivity-enhancing functions when it comes to document research and case review, so Doctrine is smart to be championing this in France and Europe. However, cautious French regulators still impost restrictions on judicial analytics (particularly around nudge profiling) which may limit certain innovations. That said, Doctrine's expansion into other European jurisdictions could provide it with more regulatory headroom and room to grow.
