Who you are
- 1+ years of experience in a customer facing sales or revenue role within a fast-paced, competitive environment
- Demonstrated experience owning deals or commercial outcomes through close, including renewals, expansions, or contract execution
- A track record of strong performance against defined targets, metrics, or goals
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to a diverse audience, both internally and externally
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple opportunities to be managed at the same time
- Talent for building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Prior exposure to database, cloud, and infrastructure technology is a plus
What the job involves
- As a Renewals Specialist at MongoDB, you will be responsible for managing the renewal process for our customer base, ensuring the seamless continuation of their partnerships with MongoDB and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- You will work closely with our sales and customer success teams to offer an outstanding customer experience, ultimately contributing to the growth and retention of our customer portfolio within your territory
- Proactively manage the end-to-end renewal process for assigned customer accounts, owning timelines, coordination, and execution to drive strong retention outcomes
- Work on upcoming renewals and engage with customers 120 days in advance to secure timely renewals
- Prepare renewal quotes and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their usage, needs, and challenges
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and solutions to maximize the value they receive from MongoDB
- Utilize data and reporting tools to track renewal performance, forecast renewals, and identify at-risk accounts
- Provide regular updates to the management team on renewal status and key metrics
- Work closely with the sales, customer success, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to renewals
