Who you are

2+ years of experience in an outbound sales role, with at least 1 year in a management or lead position

What the job involves

Constrafor is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to lead and develop a team focused on creating new business opportunities for our Early Pay Program (EPP). In this role, you will be responsible for driving the SDR team’s success, building a steady flow of qualified leads, and setting the standard for best practices in prospecting and qualification
This role will play a key part in growing our sales pipeline by coaching SDRs, refining outreach strategies, and ensuring the team consistently engages and qualifies contractor prospects for the EPP. You’ll be instrumental in guiding and supporting SDRs to excel in their roles and in coordinating efforts with Sales and Marketing to align on growth objectives
Mentor SDRs in prospecting, outreach, and qualification techniques to achieve and exceed individual and team goals
Continuously improve the SDR workflow and outreach strategy to maximize efficiency, engagement, and lead quality
Monitor and report SDR metrics (such as outreach volume, conversion rates, etc.) to make data-driven adjustments that enhance SDR productivity and success
Oversee the SDR team’s pipeline from initial outreach to lead handoff, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads for the Account Executive team
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to align SDR activities with broader company growth strategies, ensuring cohesive messaging and smooth lead transition
Equip SDRs with the knowledge and skills to present the Early Pay Program effectively and confidently
Leverage sales enablement technology and CRM tools to track team performance, ensure accurate record-keeping, and optimize outreach efforts

Our take

Large construction projects take a long time to finish, and subcontractors can get caught up in the flow of money, waiting up to 80 days to be paid by general contractors. Such situations not only lead to project delays but also impose the burden of financing their project segments onto subcontractors. However, Constrafor has set out to change this through its SaaS construction procurement platform.

The platform streamlines information and documentation for how general contractors work with subcontractors, and assumes the risk for the subcontractor invoice - freeing up cash flow. The general contractor then reimburses Constrafor for the invoice, with the company making its money by taking in about 2% of the value of the invoice.

Its a valuable offering, and Constrafor finds itself in substantial demand, standing out for offering tailored solutions that are designed and developed on behalf of these companies. With good funding at its back, the company can continue elevating its operations as it continues to support pivotal aspects of the construction process.
