Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate should have strong data analysis skills, proficiency in Excel, and a meticulous eye for detail
- Thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, similar to day trading is essential, as is a basic understanding of programming (Python) to support algorithm updates when necessary
- 3-5 years in proven experience in supply and demand analysis and strategy development, as well as lead buying & selling
- Experience in a day-trading-like environment or similar high-intensity decision-making roles
- Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages is a plus
What the job involves
- We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to oversee and optimize our Media Ping Post and Click Buying efforts within our Personal Lines Insurance division
- This role involves matching supply and demand to develop strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining operational efficiency
- Collaborate in refining and improving our Ping Post strategy across all LOB and participate in future automation initiatives to super charge our already robust presence in the market
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables etc)
- Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and strategy optimization
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
- Ability to stay focused and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Basic programming knowledge (Python preferred) to understand and modify algorithms
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Familiarity with ping post systems and click buying platforms or similar
