Who you are
- The candidate will be a creative thinker, thinking outside of the box to serve our Customers’ challenges, while bringing passion, an inquisitive mind, and a collaborative approach to the work as they interface with many key business partners to bring to life the value of the Emerging Business Unit Products and set their Solution Engineering partners up for success
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related industry
- Salesforce Administrator, Architect, or Sales Cloud Consultant Certified
- Expectation will be to obtain certification following hire if not held during hiring process
- Excellent speaking and presentations skills and experience both in-person and over-the-web
- Strong time management skills, allowing for multiple projects to run in parallel
- Creative mindset and the ability to think “outside of the box” with a desire to develop solutions that scale or have direct applicability to enterprise-level customers
- Proficient in excel and/or data management best practices
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience

- The Emerging Business Unit is a Globally focused organization, dedicated to the nurturement and maturation of acquired and newly released products here at Salesforce
- Our role is to develop foundational sales process, structure, and go-to-market motions for these products so that they may continue their growth across the larger Salesforce enterprise
- Currently the Emerging Business Unit is comprised of the Sales Performance Management Portfolio and the recently acquired product, Spiff, Salesforce’s Incentive and Compensation Management platform
- We are seeking a Demo Engineer (Pre-Sales) to join our Emerging Business Solution Engineering Team that is eager to begin or continue their career as a Solution Engineer
- This is a great opportunity to build foundational Solution Engineering skills and learn from some of the best in the industry through hands on experience
- The Demo Engineer will act as a Solution Expert, and partner with Sales Leaders, Account Executives, and other Solution Engineers across the Globe to create compelling and meaningful Solution demos for our Customers to drive scale and continue our products’ growth
- The successful candidate will be focused on the creation of impactful and replicable solution demos to demonstrate to our customers the value of the Emerging Business Unit Solutions
- Partner with Account Executives and Solution Engineers to understand our Customer’s unique business goals and challenges to create specific solution demos for EBOU products involved in the Customer’s evaluation
- Create, document, and deploy replicable demo solutions that can be used across multiple regions and industries to demonstrate the function and value of the EBOU Product Portfolio, while scaling larger EBOU Solution Engineering resources
- Partner with Salesforce Demo Experience teams to ensure EBOU products are included and up to date in the Salesforce demo toolbox
- Manage RFP requests in partnership with the Product Specialist Solution Engineering team to ensure timely and accurate responses to move strategic sales cycles forward
- Manage and maintain RFP library in conjunction with Operations Business partners to scale the RFP response process and reduce administrative burden
- Master and maintain technical competency in all Emerging Business Unit Products and the larger Salesforce Platform
- Be an innovator who can create new solutions using out-of-the-box thinking to enable client's business initiatives to be realized
