Role
Who you are
- Veriff is seeking a driven and results-oriented Associate Account Executive with a strong foundation in sales development and a proven ability to engage and qualify prospects
- A solid understanding of outbound sales development best practices and a passion for generating qualified leads
- 1+ years of B2B sales or sales development experience, including demonstrable success in early-stage sales activities (discovery calls)
- A proven ability to thrive and excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
- B2B/SaaS sales experience, with a strong understanding of the software sales lifecycle
- Exceptional organizational skills to effectively manage a high volume of interactions and ensure meticulous follow-through
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Salesloft
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
- A strong grasp of the SPICED qualification methodology and the ability to apply it effectively in conversations
What the job involves
- This pivotal role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of online identity verification and gain invaluable mid-market sales experience within a rapidly scaling global organization
- Spearheading proactive outbound efforts to identify and qualify new mid-market opportunities through various channels (e.g., cold outreach, networking, targeted campaigns)
- Conducting thorough initial discovery calls to understand prospect needs, challenges, and business objectives
- Effectively articulating Veriff's value proposition and tailoring it to address specific prospect pain points
- Leveraging the SPICED framework (Situation, Pain, Impact, Critical Event, Decision) to strategically qualify leads and build compelling business cases
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
- Actively listening to and understanding customer concerns to collaboratively identify potential solutions
- Clearly communicating Veriff’s unique value proposition and demonstrating how it addresses prospect needs
- Skillfully negotiating terms and successfully closing deals
- Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders (legal, marketing, product, etc.) to ensure seamless customer onboarding and success
- Contributing to team initiatives aimed at continuously improving our sales processes and strategies
Our take
Veriff started when the founder tried to access one of the worlds largest online marketplaces underage. He realised that, with some slight photo editing, he could easily break through their verification process. The company believes that identity is a valuable asset, and delivers real safety, protection and transparency to interactions online.
Veriff combines technical advancements in facial recognition, social ID, device ID and more into a SaaS model, that is easy to use and accessible to companies of all sizes. The service includes features such as real-time identity document verification, automated "Proof of Address" processes, and automated SSN Verification.
Veriff has continued to add to its offerings with new technologies and improvements. The considerable funds raised by the company in 2022 fuelled continued research and development, as well as enabling it to hire more talent into its team. Partnerships with the likes of SonoSuite, a digital tech provider for the music industry, indicate Veriff's continued expansion of its products into new markets.
