Who you are

  • Presentation skills, both in-person and virtually

What the job involves

  • Reporting To : Senior Sales Director
  • We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our Residental/Commercial team and take responsibility for generating leads, and help achieve our ambitious start-up growth targets
  • The role will involve actively qualifying inbounds, outreach to new leads, engaging with existing leads, and gathering data on our existing contacts
  • Qualify and connect with potential clients, scheduling meetings to support the sales team
  • Manage and organise colleagues’ calendars, ensuring smooth coordination and clear communication
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build relationships and secure key accounts
  • Contribute your ideas in team meetings—your voice and perspective matter
  • Stay curious about the built environment sector and industry trends
  • Guide and support clients, helping them maximise the platform’s value for their business
  • Lead proactive outreach, identifying and nurturing new business opportunities
  • Enjoy the freedom to shape and implement your own sales approach within our best practice framework
  • Attend industry events to network, learn, and expand professional connections
  • Engage in outreach activities, including cold calling, with a focus on meaningful conversations and relationship-building

Our take

SearchLand’s platform allows property developers to source off market sites by linking disparate data such as ownership information, planning records, local policy restraints, and prices, then contact landowners directly.

While there are a few platforms with this depth of information available, SearchLand is banking on its searchability to set it apart, letting users search only for plots that meet their criteria if they wish.

Launched in 2021, SearchLand’s emergence comes at a time when the property market is under increasing pressure to become more tech and data driven, and investment in Proptech skyrocketing. Indeed, SearchLand has recently secured funding itself in a bid to drive sales of its nascent platform.
