Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of product experience and 7-9 years of professional experience
- Demonstrated experience driving outcomes by identifying data-driven opportunities and executing
- Experience and understanding of best practices to improve user workflows
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities with data and self-serve data inquiries with BI tools (Looker, Metabase)
- Experience with SQL / relational databases is preferred but not required
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across a range of roles, including clinical, engineering, design, data, business, and operations stakeholders
What the job involves
- As a Sr. Product Manager, Provider Workflows, you will partner directly with our clinical teams to improve the clinical quality and efficiency of our clinical workflows.
- You will own the user workflows within our in-house EHR and Pharmacy application (learn more at https://ro.co/os/) across practitioners, nurses, patient advocates and pharmacists.
- You will partner with clinical clinical strategy, practice management, quality and safety, care delivery operations, other platform teams and business verticals to drive down the cost of care while improving quality of care delivery.
- You will also support new patient offerings, product launches and capabilities by ensuring they are supported in Ro’s internal workflows
- Partner with clinical teams (strategy, practice management, quality and safety, operations), design, product, engineering and ops leadership to define the roadmap
- Lead projects that drive down the cost of care while improving quality
- Standardize and continuously improve, and automate workflows within care delivery
- Support the new patient offerings in evolving workflows to support them
- Develop solutions with a platform approach that will scale to new use cases over time
- This role is a senior individual contributor (“IC”) role
Our take
Ro is a healthcare startup that connects patients directly to physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. The founders of Ro established the company because they felt that health insurance wasn’t working as it should, as the pooled cost of expensive treatments means that the price of individual doctor visits is inflated.
Ro’s primary care platform powers a personalized, end-to-end healthcare experience from diagnosis, to delivery of medication, to ongoing care. Instead of having to travel to a doctor’s office, Ro customers can access a video conference with a physician on-demand, from the comfort of their own home.
In order to tap into the global medical market, which is worth over $4 trillion, Ro raised $150 million at a valuation of $7 billion in 2022. It has expanded to more health areas, such as skincare and mental health, and launched an online pharmacy. Despite this, a substantial number of layoffs in spring 2022 indicated that Ro's accelerated growth had caused problems with its internal organization. Having now narrowed its focus and spending more on less, Ro has streamlined its operations and looks to continue on a steady upward trajectory.
