Role
Who you are
- This role requires a unique blend of technical depth, compelling communication, and strategic business acumen to ensure successful customer adoption and integration
- 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting role, preferably at a B2B SaaS company selling into the enterprise
- Deep functional understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, data integration patterns, and security best practices (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA/PII handling)
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and executive audiences
- Proven track record of managing and closing large, complex technical deals and coordinating cross-functional resources effectively
- A "founder's mentality" with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and build processes from the ground up
What the job involves
- We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our rapidly scaling team. This pivotal, cross-functional role will be the critical link between our existing customers, our Account Management team, and our core Product and Engineering organization
- You will be responsible for proving the technical feasibility and value of the EvenUp AI platform, designing custom solutions for our largest clients, and overcoming complex technical hurdles that are blockers to revenue and expansion
- Serve as the primary technical expert throughout the sales process, leading technical deep dives, security and compliance reviews, and proofs-of-concept (POCs)
- Design, architect, and present detailed integration strategies for key customers, often involving complex data migration and API connectivity with existing legal practice management systems
- Partner closely with Product to translate customer technical requirements into actionable product feedback, directly influencing the roadmap for enterprise readiness
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, compelling presentations, and customized demo environments to clearly articulate the platform's value and technical flow
- Proactively identify and address recurring technical obstacles in the sales process, driving internal initiatives to improve efficiency and scale our post-sales efforts
Our take
Every year, millions of personal injury cases in the US are resolved with only a small fraction going to trial, leaving many victims potentially under-compensated due to inaccurate settlement proposals. EvenUp aims to change this by leveraging AI technology to streamline the assessment of injury cases.
The AI tools evaluate raw case files, including medical and police records, creating tailored "demand packages" that present comprehensive compensation arguments. This improves lawyer performance and victim outcomes.
Despite concerns about AI bias and privacy, EvenUp has garnered significant investor interest, closing a funding round in 2025 that was one of the largest in the history of legal AI. Now valued at over $2 billion, it is investing in its team and introducing new techniques and products for personal injury and other legal areas.
