In recent years, the need for cleaner and more sustainable transportation solutions has seen a rapid increase, and commercial transportation is no exception. Range Energy is a hardware company that aims to address this issue by introducing powered trailers to the trucking industry.
Range's powered trailers provide a seamless solution that connects effortlessly to any tow vehicle. This allows for a swift transition to electrification while catering to the immediate requirements and long-term goals of the company's commercial partners
Range was founded by a team of electrification experts instrumental in achieving several "firsts" in the EV industry. In 2024, it launched the RB-01 trailer system, with tests indicating that it saves 32-40 percent in fuel costs. It has also benefitted from considerable investment that supports its roadmap of customer pilot programmes and tests.
