Who you are
- If you’re eager to turn influencers into a growth engine and pioneer innovative acquisition strategies, we’d love to have you on board
- Several years of demonstrated success running paid performance campaigns, with a passion for exploring new opportunities in performance marketing
- Strong interest in influencer marketing as an acquisition channel and an eye for maintaining brand consistency
- Experience working with a B2C subscription-based mobile app
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track KPIs, run A/B testing and cohort analysis, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to marketing challenges
- Proven ability to refine ad strategies based on performance data, user feedback, and changing market conditions
- Eager to take on the challenge of guiding influencers toward unique, high-performing concepts while ensuring brand messaging and deep audience resonance
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for negotiation and building valuable relationships with third parties
- Must reside in the UK or Spain and have the legal right to work there (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship)
What the job involves
- As our Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for scaling our influencer programme to be a channel that we can spend six-figure monthly budgets on whilst also testing and growing other, non-traditional performance channels (such as CTV or programmatic)
- Explore and scale non-traditional paid acquisition channels, ensuring they contribute to Paired’s growth
- Lead, develop and execute performance-focused influencer strategies that are aligned with overall user acquisition and revenue targets
- Oversee and guide third-party agencies responsible for influencers’ scouting, negotiation, and onboarding
- Collaborate with product, creative, and brand teams to ensure influencer content aligns with product and brand messaging while integrating performance data insights
- Explore new platforms, partnerships, and formats (e.g. live streaming, or brand ambassador programs) to expand acquisition efforts
- Identify and test additional new non-traditional paid acquisition channels, running performance marketing campaigns and optimization
- Leverage data analytics to evaluate ROI, engagement, and conversion metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize and scale

Our take
With 1 in 4 couple relationships being ‘distressed’ and the vast majority of these distressed couples not getting support (either because it’s taboo, unaffordable, or inconvenient) Paired brings relationship support to all couples via a fun, expert, and affordable mobile app. Paired is different to traditional couples therapy as it targets the full spectrum of couples who want help building intimacy, resolving conflict and improving communication.
Paired works with expert relationship academics and therapists. The company combines tips from these experts with fun daily questions, games and quizzes that partners answer together. It prompts partners to take the small, positive steps needed by couples to improve their relationship each day.
The founding team has a deep expertise in building top-grossing mobile apps such as Memrise and Peak, which should give them an edge in creating a widely adopted user-friendly app. An app targeted towards existing relationships stands out as an innovative concept compared to the numerous dating apps already on the market.
Paired is growing rapidly, recently passing more than 250,000 daily active users. Alongside this, it tripled its team size in 2022 and has won plaudits for its app, including the 2020 Google Play Award in the Personal Growth category and the Apple Store's App of the Day in January 2023.
