Who you are
- > 5-7 years
- Must have: experience in a strategy consulting firm (big four)
- Must have: experience in start-up/scale-up (post series B). (Ideally from 50 to 150 people)
- Fluent in English and French (C2 level)

What the job involves
- Strategic Prioritization: Ensure the CEO focuses on the company's most important priorities. Assist in completing priority items for the CEO to an appropriate level of quality
- Internal Process Optimization: Improve the company's internal management systems (wiki, vision, meetings, 1-1s, hiring processes, team/individual objectives) and ensure these improvements are sustainable
- Oversee Staff/Internal Operations: Prepare agendas, take notes, and assign action items at weekly staff meetings, manage the annual planning processes, support with board meeting prep, create decision-making frameworks, and manage All Hands programming
- Executive Team Enhancement: Elevate the performance of the entire leadership team by providing constructive feedback on ideas and proposals
- CEO Accessibility: Keep the CEO accessible and open to new ideas and proposals
- Accountability and Follow-Up: Ensure the CEO remains accountable for commitments while helping teams achieve their goals
- Organizational Health: Monitor the organization's health and provide specific recommendations for improvement
- CEO Communication: Amplify and improve the CEO’s communication, ensuring presentations are comprehensive and clear, especially for important communications to boards, town hall meetings, etc
- Proactive Attitude: Do whatever needs to be done with a can-do, will-do attitude. This role requires great flexibility and adaptability

Our take
Founded in 2015, Yubo is a social platform mostly aimed at Generation Z users. They hang out in live streaming rooms to socialise, play games and make new friends. There aren’t creators on the platform broadcasting to fans like nearly all other major social platforms; instead, the app focuses on helping users communicate naturally.
So far, the company has seen 60 million sign-ups - up from 40 million in 2020 - 99% of which are Gen Z users, ages 13 to 25. It also sees rapidly increasing revenue, more than tripling from 2019 to 2023.
Yubo has been thinking about the future of social networking for the next generation of younger users, not just from a product standpoint, but also from a safety perspective. Most recently, it has been focused on implementing unique safety features such as face-scanning age verification. These features are likely to help the company retain and protect its users, and therefore grow its user base to reach new markets and stay ahead of the competition.
