Data Analyst, Yaspa

• 2 years of experience in Tableau (or 1 year with certification/formal training or 1 year + 3 years of similar, e.g. PowerBI, QLIK etc.)
• Worked closely with Product (or an internal team) before to translate requirements into Tableau features
• Tableau experience must cover both backend (Data model, Database Connection) and Front End (Visuals, Dashboards, Interactivity) to some meaningful extent
• Knowledge of optimising for speed and responsiveness on Tableau
• SQL programming language, intermediate level, 1-2 years experience

• We are looking for a Data Analyst with solid Tableau skills to create and optimise AI-powered dashboards that provide actionable insights for merchants and ensure robust, reliable data models and analytics.
• Take full ownership of minor updates or adjustments to dashboards, calculations, or visuals for merchants
• Implement enhancements quickly and independently, ensuring accuracy, usability, and high-quality insights
• Act as the Tableau expert within Yaspa, providing guidance on best practices and advanced functionality
• Manage Mixpanel to ensure internal analytics data is accurate, reliable, and actionable, alongside Tableau responsibilities
• Ensure existing Tableau dashboards and visuals are accurate, reliable, and up to date for merchants
• Maintain and optimise underlying Tableau data models, including relationships, joins, row-level security, base tables, logical and physical tables, to maximise insight accuracy and performance
• Handle routine dashboard fixes, data cleaning, and SQL optimisation to ensure high-quality and actionable merchant insights
• Optimise dashboards for performance by moving heavy calculations upstream to the database (e.g., Postgres) and leveraging efficient filters, hierarchies, and parameters
• Enhance user experience with responsive dashboards, drill-downs, and scenario-driven reporting focused on maximising the value of insights for merchants
• Ensure dashboards are cost-effective to maintain and scale, avoiding unnecessary computation
