Who you are
- This role requires strong technical depth, sound judgment, and the ability to bring clarity to complex, evolving problems through data and narrative
- Deep experience in Recruiting Analytics
- Strong data modeling and data engineering experience, including building and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Proven expert-level consulting and advisory experience with senior leaders and C-suite stakeholders
- Experience with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, or Metabase
- Hands-on experience with recruiting and HR systems such as Ashby, Workday, and/or Rippling
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to non-technical audiences
- Experience with statistically sound analysis using R or Python
- A bias towards action with an innate curiosity to learn
What the job involves
- The Senior Insights and Analytics Manager, Recruiting is a builder, operator, and trusted advisor
- You will work closely with Recruiting, People, Finance, and executive stakeholders to architect recruiting analytics that are scalable, accurate, and decision-oriented
- As an early member of the People Analytics function, you’ll operate with a high degree of ownership and influence
- Designing data models and pipelines, translating ambiguous questions into structured analyses, and delivering executive-ready insights that connect recruiting performance to business outcomes
- Design and maintain recruiting data models, pipelines, and ETL across ATS and HR systems
- Integrate recruiting data with People and Finance data to enable demand modeling, capacity planning, and forecasting
- Establish standards for recruiting data quality, definitions, and governance
- Partner with Recruiting leadership to model hiring demand, recruiter capacity, and performance
- Build standardized dashboards and analytical frameworks for pipeline health, time-to-fill, efficiency, and hiring quality
- Translate recruiting metrics into insights that inform prioritization, tradeoffs, and workforce planning decisions
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives on recruiting performance and strategy
- Present executive-ready insights with clear narratives, recommendations, and business implications
- Design and deliver intuitive dashboards and visual storytelling using modern BI tools
Our take
Crusoe is tackling one of the biggest challenges facing the digital age: the enormous energy demand of data centres and AI infrastructure. As AI models grow more powerful, they require immense computing power (and therefor electricity) to train and operate. This surge in energy use has put some pressure on power grids, driven up costs, and raised environmental concerns. Crusoe is on a mission to make this process more sustainable by finding smarter, cleaner, and more efficient ways to power the data centres that drive modern computing.
The company started out by putting wasted energy to work. Originally known as Crusoe Energy, it captured natural gas that would otherwise be burned off ("flared") at remote oil sites and used it to power modular data centres. Today, Crusoe has evolved into a major player in AI infrastructure, designing and operating large-scale data centres near renewable or stranded energy sources. It's now one of a handful of "neocloud" companies (next-generation cloud providers focused on flexible, efficient computing for AI workloads). And its facilities are helping tech giants like OpenAI handle the massive computing requirements of training advanced AI models.
Recently, Crusoe has attracted some huge investor attention, tripling its valuation to over $10B and raising $1.4B in its latest funding round. It's building OpenAI's first major US data centre campus and even experimenting with bold new frontiers. In partnership with Starcloud, Crusoe plans to deploy the world's first space-based cloud computing infrastructure, powered by solar energy and orbiting the Earth by 2027. If successful, this could redefine how and where computing happens, opening up a cleaner, virtually limitless source of energy for AI's next generation.
