Role
Who you are
- This is an opportunity for a rising leader with strong technical Tableau skills, an eye for storytelling with data, and a passion for operational efficiency and enablement
- 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or similar roles, with at least 1 year in a people management or mentorship capacity
- Advanced Tableau experience, including dashboard development, data source management, and admin-level configuration
- Strong SQL and data pipeline familiarity—comfortable navigating data systems to troubleshoot and optimize Tableau performance
- Experience delivering reporting for a variety of business audiences including Client Services, Sales, or Operations teams
- Proven ability to design compelling visualizations and translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience interacting with Director-level+ stakeholders
- Passion for continuous learning, scaling BI solutions, and building a high-leverage team
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to lead and grow our internal reporting function
- This role will drive the adoption and strategic direction of our Tableau reporting environment
- You’ll be responsible for managing a small but growing team of BI Analysts, working cross-functionally to develop reporting that helps internal teams make smarter decisions—and ultimately improving how we serve clients
- You’ll be a key advocate for scalable, data-informed culture at Tatari
- This is a hybrid manager/individual contributor (IC) role, with the expectation that you will directly contribute to dashboard development and delivery—especially for timely or critical projects—alongside your team leadership responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a geographically distributed team of Business Intelligence Analysts (including offshore contributors), currently two direct reports, with potential for team growth
- Operate in a hybrid player-coach capacity, contributing 25–50% as an individual contributor depending on team bandwidth and project urgency—especially for high-impact dashboard builds and updates
- Lead the development and administration of internal reporting tools, primarily Tableau, with potential to expand or transition to platforms such as Looker
- Partner with stakeholders across Client Services, Media Buying, Leadership, and Product to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable dashboards
- Build and maintain clean, scalable data pipelines and workflows that power dashboards and reporting tools
- Under the direction of the Director of Data Science, execute the BI roadmap to streamline internal reporting, reduce manual effort, and support new feature prototyping
- Serve as a reporting and visualization advocate across the company—helping teams effectively leverage dashboards for KPIs, client performance, operational insights, and more
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other departments to ensure robust, accurate, and timely reporting infrastructure
- Present insights and dashboard strategy clearly to stakeholders
- Own horizontal team functions, including monthly project planning and resource allocation, throughput tracking and reporting, and project management to ensure timely delivery
- Scope new dashboard and data visualization projects by gathering requirements from stakeholders, estimating effort, and defining success metrics
- Ensure dashboards and data products meet a high standard of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail, particularly for executive and cross-functional audiences
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and be a supportive, proactive team player

Despite these increased demands, television advertising remains antiquated relative to the modern data-driven campaigns of mobile platform ads, presenting opportunities for innovations within the industry.
Tatari provides a TV and CTV advertisement data and analytics platform, helping clients to future-proof their advertisement campaigns through real-time data-driven approaches. The company achieves this by providing a dashboard for analyzing the success of campaigns, facilitating data-driven media buying, and managing on-demand CTV campaign changes, ultimately aiming to digitize the TV advertisement process.
Whilst it is undeniable that Tatari faces competition from providers of TV advertisement analytic platforms, media buying platforms, and other data-driven solutions, it has been smart to unify such tools into an all-in-one digital TV advertisement management dashboard. The company shows great potential to help clients future-proof the way they run TV ads, and has been busy expanding its product suite and licensing portfolio through 2022 and 2023.
