- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in a B2B startup environment
- Working with a niche SaaS product is preferred
- Hands-on experience in managing cross-channel marketing campaigns (including offline events)
- Good project management skills
- Fluent in English - speaking and writing
- A demonstrable passion for renewable energy
- Must be minimum 2 days/week in the office
- Located in NL and eligible to work in the EU
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager with a startup mentality who thrives in a diverse and fast-paced environment
- In this new position, you will be collaborating closely with Andi and Catalina from the marketing team, as well as Philip and Alexander from the sales team
- As a Marketing Communications Manager at Dexter Energy, you will coordinate our communication efforts across all our marketing channels
- This role will encompass areas such as (offline and online) event management, newsletters, social media, advertising, campaign management, and analytics
- Conducting market and competitor research to come up with marketing campaign ideas
- Initiate and run marketing campaigns that amplify our content and messages through the appropriate marketing channels, mainly: website, social media, email, advertising, and events
- Maximize lead generation and lead nurturing
- Facilitate content creation by being a liaison between external and internal parties (i.e., video interviews with clients, opinion leaders, and internal interviews with employees)
- Coordinate our presence at conferences and trade fairs
- Organize client-focused in-house events
- Drive our webinars’ agenda, from ideation to implementation
- Monitor and analyze the performance of your marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
- Create dashboards and reports to track campaign performance
Our take
Dexter provides highly accurate energy forecasts to renewable energy producers. Its algorithm analyses current and historic weather data to determine how much electricity windmills and solar panels will generate on a given day. This enables energy companies to reduce imbalances on the grid by determining energy loads, helping companies to optimise their renewable electricity production and consumption.
As the energy market continues to shift, large-scale providers must be able to anticipate changing weather and market conditions. Since the company’s AI-powered software enables companies to manage increasing imbalance costs, Dexter has considerable growth potential as it expands its services across Europe and into the UK.
