Who you are

We’re looking for exceptional talent with strong background in software engineering
+3 years of experience in software development including internships and apprenticeships
Fluent in English
Experience with software engineering standards, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, and continuous integration
Experience designing API's & Docker containers
Understanding of modern web stack
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Product and user-oriented mindset, with a keen interest in understanding user needs and delivering impactful solutions

What the job involves

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer you will work within CO2 AI multi-disciplinary team to support the scale-up of our solutions
Design, build and deploy both front-end and back-end applications
Identify areas to optimize client-side performance and scalability of user-facing features
Write and maintain documentation, improve engineering processes to help the team perform better and scale
Develop and deliver, with your team, end-to-end solutions in an effective and efficient way
Influence product decisions while working with the user researcher, product manager and UX/UI designer from your squad
As a member of the Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced software engineers on various features, as well as Product Managers and Product Designers

Its platform processes and translates complex data into actionable insights, allowing users to make the most impactful changes. Interestingly, it includes "Scope 3" emissions in this analysis, which are emissions that are not directly produced by the company but by the organisations it controls.

Incubated within the technology wing of Boston Consulting Group, the company was spun out in 2023, with BCG acting as one of the funding bodies behind its corresponding fundraise. CO2 AI is using these funds to expand its footprint in Europe and North America as it moves ahead in its journey as a standalone business.
