Who you are
- Experience: 1–3 years of related experience accounting (AP/AR accounting focused preferred)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

What the job involves
- We are now looking for an Accounting Analyst who is ready to roll up their sleeves and build with us
- This role is ideal for someone looking to be the backbone of our daily financial operations who loves the 'scrappiness' of a startup and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves
- You should be someone who gets things done with precision, stays organized under pressure, and is constantly looking for ways to grow your technical skills and accounting knowledge
- Operational Management: Own the end-to-end process for vendor management, credit card reconciliations, and employee reimbursements
- AP/AR Ownership: Ensure accurate data entry and timely processing of invoices and collections
- Process Improvement: Identify ways to leverage our software suite to automate manual tasks and increase efficiency
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across the company to ensure spend is tracked correctly and deadlines are met
- Quality Control: Maintain a high bar for accuracy, ensuring that all financial records are audit-ready
Our take
Every year, millions of personal injury cases in the US are resolved with only a small fraction going to trial, leaving many victims potentially under-compensated due to inaccurate settlement proposals. EvenUp aims to change this by leveraging AI technology to streamline the assessment of injury cases.
The AI tools evaluate raw case files, including medical and police records, creating tailored "demand packages" that present comprehensive compensation arguments. This improves lawyer performance and victim outcomes.
Despite concerns about AI bias and privacy, EvenUp has garnered significant investor interest, closing a funding round in 2025 that was one of the largest in the history of legal AI. Now valued at over $2 billion, it is investing in its team and introducing new techniques and products for personal injury and other legal areas.
