Role
Who you are
- 5-7 years of technical recruiting experience, preferably within the tech industry and with a Staffing/Search Firm background
- Proven results identifying passive candidates in a timely manner via creative recruiting strategies
- Natural relationship building skills, and passion for nurturing relationships both internally with stakeholders and externally with prospects
- Skills in the art of negotiation, and comfort managing the entire offer process; including salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer acceptances/declines
- A Bachelor’s Degree
What the job involves
- As a Talent Acquisition Lead, you will be a strategic talent partner who leverages innovative sourcing techniques to engage top talent for our Corporate teams
- In this role, you will focus on hiring for roles across Strategy and Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and other key business functions
- You’ll balance your time between managing a team of one to two Corporate Recruiters, driving larger strategic recruiting initiatives, and actively managing high-priority searches
- Additionally, you’ll act as a trusted recruiting partner to business leaders, gaining a deep understanding of their teams and resource needs to deliver impactful hiring solutions
- Fill critical positions across teams with high performers, in a timely fashion
- Identify sourcing messages and techniques to identify the optimal recruiting strategy for each role
- Continuously and proactively build a candidate pipeline
- Drive a positive candidate experience and support Enova’s employment brand by being a brand ambassador (both online and offline)
- Advise hiring teams on creating a robust recruiting process focused on quality hiring
- Continuously research the hiring market and recruiting industry trends
- Organize and drive recruiting projects to completion while documenting the results and takeaways
- Attend Chicago Tech networking events, Meetups and conferences to attract talent and stay connected with the market
Our take
Providing customers with quick access to credit is important for fintech companies to survive in today's financial landscape of open banking, but this is made difficult by high credit rejection rates from banks. However, these decisions are generally made by human assessments of data which are limited due to the complexity of the modern financial landscape. AI-driven solutions, able to analyse vast amounts of data almost instantly to derive accurate credit risk assessments, present room for improvement in the lending industry.
Enova provides a platform called Colossus that leverages AI and machine learning-enabled analytics to provide businesses and individuals with fast, reliable, and trustworthy credit. The company achieves this by partnering with banks and sharing its data analysis solutions, helping to identify opportunities for credit when they would otherwise be missed. There is definitely a market for its product: over 8 million customers have funded almost $50 billion through the platform to date.
Enova has grown strongly in recent years based on the rapid uptake of its product. As the macroeconomic climate remains volatile, businesses will increasingly come to rely on Enova's AI-based solutions to help them manage credit risk and navigate an increasingly complex lending environment.
