- Familiarity with solar commercial industry standards

- 7+ years of managing relationships with B2B clients
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership
- Experience solving business problems for multiple parties
- Experience working with Salesforce
- Ability to negotiate renewal contracts and enforce terms
What the job involves
- The Client Success Team supports Omnidian’s ability to deliver on our Mission Statement through the cultivation of impactful client relationships
- The Enterprise CS Team focuses on clients with whom Omnidian has direct contractual engagement and interaction, across both residential and commercial market segments
- This role will focus on commercial clients
- Become an expert in Omnidian’s Enterprise Commercial business
- Understand our clients’ value calculations for their clean energy investments
- Work cross-functionally across internal teams to maximize the positive impact of Omnidian services on those client value calculations
- Manage every detail of specific Enterprise Commercial client relationships
- Become fluent in all contracts and agreements pertaining to your clients
- Map aligning contacts between Omnidian and clients, then deepen and broaden relationships that support mutual growth and success of both orgs
- Devise, implement and iterate relationship building strategies with clients, including benchmarking, relationship health trending, regular business review meetings, etc
- Communicate product changes and updates to clients
- Manage escalations and client relationship risks as they arise
- Provide reporting across Omindian on client relationship
Our take
As one of many options in the move to decarbonize our energy grid, solar power has shot up in popularity in recent years. However, one issue that may discourage investment in solar systems is the lack of post-purchase performance management and analytics options.
This is where Omnidian steps in, with solutions for solar owners and operators - as well as investors with solar portfolios - to monitor and service their systems for maximum performance and ROI. A key component of the company's offering is in predictive, rather than reactive, maintenance, which is proven to reduce costs. It also supplies a performance guarantee where Omnidian will cover the shortfall if a system generates less than 95% of its forecasted annual energy.
With its rather unique approach to the solar market, Omnidian has gained a lot of attention and investment thus far, and has been steadily expanding its operations since founding in 2015. The latest funds it obtained will support further technical innovation; with plans to provide improved transparency into portfolio performance, job site status, and active remediations to clients.
