Software Engineer, Cleerly

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5–8 years of professional experience as a software engineer, including fullstack development
• Proficiency in React, CSS, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, system design, and debugging
• Ability to take ownership of medium-to-large features and follow through from idea to production
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially in distributed environments

• We’re seeking a Software Engineer III with strong fullstack skills to help scale and evolve our enterprise-grade platform for quantitative computer-aided diagnosis
• In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to the development of secure, reliable, and maintainable systems, delivering high-impact features and improving the foundation that powers our healthcare solutions
• The Operational System team owns the Core Lab Case Management platform, which is the central nervous system of our laboratory operations. We build the workflows that orchestrate the lifecycle of each case, ensuring that complex case data moves seamlessly through the lab and is categorized and prioritized correctly
• By optimizing how cases are processed, we ensure our operations remain scalable and our COGS grows efficiently, not linearly, alongside our business
• Develop scalable backend services (Node.js, TypeScript) and performant user-facing applications (React, Next.js)
• Build performant, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces with modern UI frameworks (Ant)
• Write testable, observable, and maintainable code that meets our performance and quality standards
• Participate in system design reviews and propose practical, scalable improvements
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teammates in an agile team to deliver reliable solutions to stakeholders
• Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and shared engineering standards
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist with triaging production issues
