Sales Compensation Analyst, Beyond Finance

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Human Resources, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in incentive compensation and commission compensation plan design and administration
• Experience designing and administering sales commission plans
• Advanced skills in SQL, Microsoft Excel and MS Office product suite, Looker, and track record of building and participating in management presentations
• Experience building compensation & job structures, as well as conducting market benchmarking
• Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels in multiple functions both individually and within a team to provide the best solution for the business
• Comfort working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
• Excellent communication, influencing, partnering, and leadership skills; approachable and responsive
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to communicate both qualitative and quantitative data effectively
• Initiative, resilience, precision, and flexibility amidst a high volume of time-sensitive projects
• A strong understanding of HR Technology Systems and Compensation Tools

• The Compensation Analyst is an integral member of the Human Resources and Strategic Sales teams responsible for managing compensation incentive plans within multiple lines of business across Corporate, Sales, and Operations teams
• The Compensation Analyst plans, develops and implements new compensation programs, policies and procedures to align competitive practices with company goals and leads ongoing administration and the evolution of our plans
• This role works closely with internal sales analytics and finance teams and is responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies, laws, and regulations
• Plans, design, and administer Sales, Operations, and Corporate short-term variable pay and long-term key employee equity programs that drive company performance
• Partner with the Sales and Operations Analytics team to evaluate employee performance and efficiency metrics and provide recommendations for performance targets
• Lead commissions payment analysis and target setting to establish employee and manager monthly commissions strategy
• Directs, designs, and plans compensation policies, objectives, and initiatives with a heavy emphasis on sales commission plans
• Drive organization-wide projects from end to end including strategy, execution, and communication activities
• Serve as subject matter expert for all compensation-related matters and maintain a strong knowledge of current compensation market trends, regulations, and laws
• Participate in the development, design, and maintenance of the job evaluation process, including conducting salary benchmarking, creating salary ranges, and providing recommendations
• Analyze internal and external market data to address compensation-related needs; prepare and present recommendations
• Work closely with senior management and leaders across the organization to manage and evolve related to pay and rewards programs
• Facilitate the annual compensation planning process and administration of the annual merit and bonus calculations
• Work in close coordination with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure that employee compensation attracts key talent
• Oversee all compensation-related tools and identify areas of process improvement to enhance the compensation program, as applicable
• Lead compensation compliance with legal and contractual requirements at the federal, state, and local level
• Direct the preparation and distribution of comprehensive communication to employees, including written communication regarding compensation and benefits
• Devise training to promote understanding and the ability to communicate rewards strategies and processes
