- 4+ years of industry experience building scalable web applications
- Proficiency in Front-End technologies: React (hooks, Redux, component architecture)
- Strong Back-End development experience in one or more of the following: Java, Go, Python
- Solid understanding of modern software architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiar with AI-based technologies (e.g., LLM integration, ML model APIs, vector databases) and AI-based productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine)
- Proven experience leading complex projects and mentoring engineers
- M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field or equivalent military experience required

What the job involves
- We are seeking a Sr Staff Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to design, develop and deliver next-generation technologies within our Prisma Access team
- Design, develop and implement highly scalable software features on our next-generation security platform as part of Prisma Access
- Work with different development and quality assurance groups to achieve best in quality software
- Suggest and implement improvements to the development process
- Work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues
- Participate in architecture; define new web based features for PrismaAccess UI & Management software
- Our engineering team is at the core of the Prisma Access service
- Engineers on our team work on all aspects of the management and control plane of the service
- This includes, Activation, Onboarding, Configuration, Orchestration, Data, APIs and much more
