Who you are
- Have a proven track record in executive finance roles, with a preference for experience in establishing finance functions
- Have extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning
- Have exceptional analytical skills and a strategic mindset
- Demonstrated proven success in fundraising efforts, particularly in Series B financing
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities, inspiring and guiding the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
- Presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in German and English
What the job involves
- Lead and shape the entire Finance Function of the company
- Assume responsibility for the entire finance function at Edurino, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial planning and cash flow management
- Craft and communicate a compelling finance vision that aligns with EDURINO's overall business strategy
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, fundraising efforts, and overall decision-making
- Act as a key point of contact for investors, providing them with regular updates on financial performance and participating in investor meetings
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the financial health and stability of the company
- Effectively collaborate with external partners, including tax consultants, auditors, and investors/board, to ensure financial integrity
- Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and a collaborative environment

After our company presentation, you will have the space to tell us why you would be the perfect fit for us and we are happy to answer all of your questions
- Depending on the position, there is now a small homework for you - either an art/coding test or the elaboration of some questions within a case study
- We schedule another interview with the direct report of your position. You will elaborate the task or questions you have solved
- You (e-)meet one of the co-founders. Depending of the position, we will now ask you for some references
- After a couple of days, we will get back to you with the final decision and you become part of #teamedurino, yay!
- The following onboarding steps include meetings with your onboarding buddy and your team members, getting to know everyone from both our business and tech team and of course receiving your EDURINO onboarding box
Our take
Educational resources have a problem - while they are training children for the world they live in now, the future that they will live in is going to look very different, and require very different skills, with a greater focus on digital, technical and mathematical knowledge than what is typically taught to children today. Edurino exists to provide this learning from the very earliest stages with a comprehensive educational program for children aged 4-8.
While the EdTech sector abounds with offerings to help children improve scholastically, Edurino stands apart by taking a hybrid approach, offering a specialised stylus and haptic physical toys that interact with its learning app. Edurino's offering has been enthusiastically received, with 160 educational institutions using its products and 100,000 units sold to individual families.
Edurino raised funding in a Series B round led by Ravensburger Next Ventures in 2025. This funding was used to accelerate growth initiatives, aiming to double the company's retail presence across Europe. Having launched across the German, Austrian and Swiss (DACH) area, it is aiming to enter the UK market in the near future.
