What the job involves
- We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to join our team and take on evolving our ML Insights team
- Lead and develop product strategy across multiple product areas
- Create and manage comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Drive cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and technologies Identify and validate complex market opportunities
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic decisions
- Manage intricate stakeholder relationships and external partnerships
- Define and track success metrics for product initiatives
- Mentor junior PMs and contribute to team development
- Architect scalable solutions for future growth
- Balance innovation with technical feasibility and market needs
- Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks
- Represent the company in high-stakes customer interactions
- Translate customer insights into actionable product strategies
- This is a very senior IC role
- You own your area of responsibility
- Your destiny is in your own hands, within the context of our vision and corporate goals, of course
- PMs are responsible for identifying, de-risking, and prioritizing outcomes for the engineering team to tackle, as well as ensuring they are successfully met
- You'll have access to customers, prospects, and random people on the street... and will be expected to deeply understand them

Our take
The integration of market data into the many functions of enterprise has been a consistent trend in SaaS markets for a number of years. Klue is taking a similar approach for teams looking to understand competitive landscapes.
The startup is uniquely attempting to create a new category of ‘competitive enablement software’. Whereas other software companies sought to fix a company’s business intelligence needs or content placement strategies, Klue brings all of these services together under the lens of competitive positioning.
Klue plans to find ways to reduce the burden of collecting intel and also automate insights. The company wants to introduce deeper integrations with enterprise tools like Slack, Salesforce, Gong, Highspot and Gainsights.
The biggest risk facing the company is that their product is currently more enterprise friendly, supported by customer specialists. For the software company to achieve true scale, they will want to democratise access to competitive enablement with a self-serve software available to small businesses.
