Who you are

  • Excellent copywriting skills – email marketing, editorial articles and social posts
  • Excellent knowledge and experience using Pardot and Salesforce to execute and report on campaigns
  • Good knowledge of WordPress
  • Good knowledge of LinkedIn for Business and LinkedIn organic
  • Good knowledge of Go To Webinar / Teams Webinar or other webinar platforms
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 applications (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Canva – or equivalent to produce graphics / gifs etc
  • Knowledge of video editing
  • Ability to work with the ambiguity of a new product
  • Be the marketing expert in the room
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of seniority
  • Cross-functionally collaborate across teams
  • Ability to explain marketing activities and results to senior colleagues

What the job involves

  • You will be proactively contributing to and implementing the Aptem marketing strategy
  • Strategically plan and deliver a marketing strategy using a proven approach
  • Set up and distribute emails to target audiences
  • Ensure all campaigns are tracked correctly through to salesforce at individual campaign level
  • Create Dashboards within Salesforce to report on effectiveness of the marketing activity and proactively suggest improvements
  • A/B test campaigns where appropriate
  • Ensure data is kept up to date
  • Setting up and management of webinars/ other face-to-face events, including product training and customer forums
  • Liaising with any third parties
  • Producing and distributing follow up communications for attendees/registrants/no contacts
  • Contributing to promotion of events (with help of Marketing Director)
  • Reporting on effectiveness of events – clicks from marketing campaigns, attendance, follow ups, leads, opportunities and conversions
  • Liaising with Sales team on follow ups
  • Uploading material to WordPress website:
  • Uploading client logos, promotional videos, upload articles, news items, event participation and new content
  • Buting to LinkedIn regularly with Aptem content and setting up sponsored campaigns:
  • Producing regular content – editorial, videos, animated gifs, images etc. To promote Aptem both on Aptem owned page and sponsored
  • Setting up campaign landing pages on website where appropriate
  • Creating LinkedIn advertising campaigns
  • Producing analytics and recommendations for improvements, to increase followers, engagement and impressions. Also determine effect on site visits as a result of social activity
  • Originating new content in a variety of formats including long form editorial, blogs, infographics, animated gifs, surveys etc
  • Repurposing content: Creating a plan to repurpose content and use in multiple ways to maximise opportunity to see
  • Writing industry award entries
  • Reporting To: Isla Lightfoot, Nigel Hough
