Staff Engineer, Canoe

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 working on event-driven microservices-based architectures
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, efficiently delivering business value using strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills,
• Ability to hit the ground running on projects that involve Kafka, Python, Typescript, PHP/Laravel, Postgres, Snowflake, Airflow, Redis, Datadog, Feature Flags, Github Actions, Docker, Terraform, and AWS
• Willingness to work with and improve code you did not originally write
• Effective at working with ambiguous or missing information and adapting quickly in a startup-like environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for getting involved in both technical details and high-level strategy, anticipating team needs and solving them ahead of time
