Who you are
- You’re a massive dog lover! It is a requirement that you have, or have access to, a dog for filming
- You love to put ideas into action; if you had an idea for a video in the morning, by the end of the day you'd have everything lined up to shoot the next day
- You’re a social media expert who loves creating content and you are active on social media yourself
- Quick learner: you’re able to learn on the go in a dynamic work environment
- Goal-seeker: you’re ready to push yourself in a fast-paced environment and set ambitious goals
- A creative thinker & writer: you're able to work both independently and collaboratively on ideation for content across social

What the job involves
- Build a creative marketing/social media plan that will increase our brand reach and following
- Be the Face & voice of Tuggs. Whether jumping on trends, hosting fun content, or sharing behind-the-scenes moments, you'll be front and centre!
- Create fun content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram with fresh, engaging videos that make people stop, laugh, and share
- Work hand-in-hand with our marketing team to brainstorm fun original ideas & bring brand campaigns to life
- Shoot & edit short-form videos like a pro
- Stay ahead of the trends, being the first to spot a viral trend and know exactly how to put a Tuggs twist on it
- Copywriting: acting as the voice across the brand channels, writing copy across community responses as well as for captions on our social posts
- Community Management: owning the strategy for building our community and growing awareness of the brand across online groups

Our take
Pet wellness startup Tuggs creates sustainable, freshly prepared dog food. As the first UK company to create fresh, insect-based dog food, it's hoping to revolutionise the sustainable pet food market.
Primarily an online subscription-based platform, Tuggs creates personalised monthly health plans for pets. It develops these from its proprietary algorithm, enabling owners to provide their dogs with tailor-made meals to keep them healthy and help them hit and maintain an ideal weight.
Having completed a seed funding round in 2024, Tuggs is well set to see continued growth.
