Role
Who you are
- You have at least 5 years of experience in software development, focusing on large-scale infrastructure projects
- You possess strong proficiency in Golang, C, or similar programming languages
- Strong understanding of data warehousing technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Druid, Elasticsearch) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Solid foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams and providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Experience with network detection & response technology and cybersecurity is highly desirable
What the job involves
- We seek a skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer who is passionate about tackling complex scalability and data warehousing problems in cybersecurity
- As a key team member, you will help drive the development of robust, scalable backend systems that support real-time threat detection and high-stakes data management
- Your knowledge in backend engineering will be crucial in elevating our products and helping clients confidently navigate their security landscapes
- Design and implement scalable and reliable backend systems and services using Golang
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for scalability and performance in a rapidly growing environment
- Develop and integrate features that support microservices architecture and promote reusability and modularity
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions that operate reliably 24/7
- Participate in code reviews, emphasizing best practices and collaborative problem-solving
- Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing maintenance
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
- Respond to critical system escalations, identifying and addressing core issues with urgency
- Participation in an on-call rotation

The security of such networks within a company is difficult to maintain, which is why Netography is rising to the challenge.
