Who you are
- Paid Social Specialist 📢 ✨- demonstrated success in crafting and executing paid social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. Proficiency in audience targeting, ad creative optimisation, and budget management
- Paid Search Expertise 📊🔍 - an interest and understanding of paid search - crafting and managing end-to-end paid search campaigns, keyword research, ad creation, bid management, and continuous performance analysis
- Growth Marketing Mindset 📈🌐 - expertise in developing and executing data-driven growth marketing strategies. Proven success in optimising the customer acquisition funnel, driving user engagement, and delivering measurable business growth
What the job involves
- Using your powers for good - changing the way the world thinks about death by leveraging the power of digital media to reach and influence millions on a global scale
- Paid Social - lead the orchestration of impactful paid social campaigns, crafting compelling ad content, fine-tuning targeting parameters, and optimising budgets to not just meet, but exceed engagement and conversion goals
- Ideas, copy & briefing design - ideating concepts, crafting compelling copy and expertly briefing designers to visually bring these ideas to life, ensuring every piece aligns seamlessly with Aura's mission and brand identity
- Growth Marketing - fuel Aura's growth engine by conceptualising, implementing, and analysing a variety of tests across channels, exploring innovative ideas and tactics to optimise customer acquisition, retention, and overall business expansion
- Analytics - dive deep into the data realms, extracting meaningful insights from campaign performance, user behaviour, and market trends. Translate these insights into actionable strategies, continuously refining and optimising every facet of Aura's digital presence for maximum impact
Our take
In the past, the majority of people have not prepared for death. However, in recent years, an increasing number of people are talking and planning for it as one of life’s key events. Funerals shifting towards meaningful celebration of life parties is a prime example of this.
Aura is an online platform where people facing end of life can leave an online legacy for their loved ones. It was founded in 2017 by Paul Jameson after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease, but wanted to embrace life, plan ahead and leave his family in the best position possible.
Since then, it has helped thousands of people tackle their hardships and is now run by Jameson’s family. The company has grown to offer celebration of life funeral planning, end-of-life support and the Aura Circle (a digital community of 30k people). With an important mission, Aura has great potential to build a significant business that impacts lots of people, and has attracted several rounds of angel investment to help it on its way.
