Role
Who you are
- Be comfortable with the responsibility of leading the development of our marketing strategy to support our continued rapid growth (currently at $25m gross sales per year, and has doubled each year since inception)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the hotel or vacation rental space
- Strong understanding of (travel) online distribution channels, such as Airbnb, Bookingcom and Expedia
Desirable
- Experience in the Caribbean market is a plus
What the job involves
- The Marketing Director will be solely responsible for leading all marketing activities and reporting to the CEO
- Oversee and optimise online distribution channels, including OTAs, direct booking platforms, and metasearch engines, to maximise reach and conversion
- Oversee all marketing campaigns, from conception to execution. This includes managing initiatives across various channels like digital marketing, content creation, social media, and traditional advertising to ensure a consistent brand message
- The Marketing Director is responsible for managing the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively, and analysing the return on investment (ROI) of campaigns to ensure profitability
- Build and manage a high-performing marketing team. This is currently one marketing executive in the Caribbean, and an international remote team of two
