What the job involves

  • At Pubstack, we provide a cutting-edge Ad Management solution for leading publishers and ad networks. As part of our dynamic Tech team, you'll join the Engine squad, where you'll apply advanced machine learning and data-driven techniques to optimize our monetization engine
  • Our goal is to offer a tailor-made ad stack for every user, ensuring the best user experience while maximizing revenue for our publishers. You’ll work alongside talented engineers in a collaborative environment that values innovation and technical excellence
  • In addition to solving complex optimization challenges, you’ll contribute to our research efforts by documenting progress and breakthroughs, driving both business impact and scientific innovation
  • Utilize advanced machine learning algorithms and data analysis techniques to enhance the performance and efficiency of the monetization engine, ensuring maximum revenue generation for publishers while maintaining an exceptional user experience
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform optimization strategies, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes within the team
  • Document research progress, methodologies, and findings related to optimization efforts, preparing detailed reports for the CIR submission that highlight innovations and improvements
  • Work closely with engineers, and product managers to integrate machine learning solutions into the Ad Management platform, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and technical requirements
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and data science, applying new techniques and tools to continuously improve the monetization engine and contribute to the company's innovative capabilities

Our take

In recent years AdTech has become an increasingly complex industry, and publishers have struggled to control or even understand how their ad revenue is being generated off of their content. Pubstack exists to give control back to publishers, offering a platform that analyses the growing tangle of advertising revenue sources and allows companies to make effective decisions based on real-time data.

Pubstack is not alone in this space, counting Roxot, Staq and Google Analytics as competitors. However, Pubstack is unique in that it operates in real time and brings together a more disparate range of data sources, making operational decision making far easier for publishers. It is also based on a recurring SaaS fee rather than revenue sharing model, which is appreciated by publishers for its simplicity and transparency.

Pubstack has raised significant funding and is moving swiftly to grow its team and implement new features in its product. Having already attracted some major clients in France such as Webedia, CCM Benchmark and Group Cerise, it has plans to scale its operations and expand into new European markets in the near future.
