Role
Who you are
- We are seeking an Account Executive with 3-5 years quota-carry experience, ideally with experience in supply chain and/or SaaS sales.
- The ideal candidate will have a hunter mindset, excellent outbound prospecting experience, and the grit/determination to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven track record of success in a hunter role, with excellent prospecting experience
- Proven ability of understanding supply chain operations, logistics processes, and industry challenges
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of an organization
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth
- Experience using Salesforce and HubSpot to manage pipeline and track progress
What the job involves
- This position is remote but we want candidates located in the Eastern/Central time zone.
- As an Account Executive at OneRail, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and engaging with potential clients, understanding their unique business needs, and demonstrating how our platform can address those needs effectively
- Prospecting: This is a pure outbound hunting role. Must have experience building a pipeline from scratch by identifying prospects, managing outreach sequences using multiple modes of communication to secure meetings (email, cold phone calls, LinkedIN, text, industry events, networking)
- Consultative & Solution Selling: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with prospects to understand their business challenges and objectives. Then articulate the value proposition of OneRail's platform and tailor presentations to demonstrate how our solution can address client-specific pain points
- Contract Negotiation and Execution: Utilize your expertise in contract negotiation to secure transactions ranging from $25,000 to $1MM. Gain a deep understanding of value drivers to effectively justify costs and expedite the sales cycle
- Relationship Building: Identify the key stakeholders, cultivate and maintain strong relationships at client organizations, including C-level executives, procurement managers, and logistics professionals
- Pipeline Management: Maintain inputs for all opportunities in Sales Force, track progress, and provide accurate weekly forecasts to the leadership team
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, solution engineering, product development, and customer success, to ensure seamless customer experience
- Industry Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to effectively position OneRail's offerings in the market

The rise of Amazon delivery has shifted the parameters for customer expectations, leading to a demand for cheap and quick delivery times. This means that smaller delivery companies must find ways to keep up with the monolithic competition.
OneRail does this by offering its delivery and logistics clients 24-hour assistance managers who can help change the outcomes of delivery at every stage of the supply chain. It also provides micro-fulfilment centres offering store-level visibility and extra stock for companies selling their wares across the US.
This flexibility is crucial to OneRail's value, and it has been making waves with substantial rounds of funding. Having gained a foothold in the sector, its now seeking further expansion with the opening of its new office in Kraków. This location will support the company’s growth to meet rising demand for last mile delivery solutions.
