Role
Who you are
- 6–10 years of experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or lifecycle marketing — ideally within SaaS, EdTech, or mission-driven tech environments
- Proven experience building and scaling full-funnel demand programs that drive measurable revenue impact
- Expertise with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills — you can connect creative campaign ideas to hard performance data
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, and design to bring GTM campaigns to life
- A builder’s mindset — you’re hands-on, scrappy, and energized by testing, learning, and iterating quickly

What the job involves
- You’ll be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing full-funnel demand generation strategies that drive qualified pipeline and revenue for ClassDojo’s school and district partnerships
- You’ll work closely with the team to translate positioning and messaging into scalable programs that reach and convert education leaders. You’ll thrive here if you love experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and building new growth systems from the ground up
- Own the B2B demand funnel from awareness to opportunity creation — building integrated campaigns that drive measurable growth in qualified leads and pipeline
- Design and optimize multi-channel programs, including paid media, email, webinars, events, partnerships, and content syndication
- Develop and manage the lead nurture strategy, using automation, segmentation, and personalization to increase conversion rates
- Build and monitor campaign performance dashboards, tracking MQL → SQL → pipeline conversion, CAC, and ROI across channels
- Collaborate with Sales and Product Marketing to ensure messaging alignment, lead quality, and seamless handoff to sales
- Test and scale new growth experiments, identifying high-impact levers across channels and customer segments
- Partner with data and ops to improve attribution, forecasting, and funnel visibility
- Support go-to-market launches with acquisition strategies that generate awareness and demand within target districts and school systems
Our take
ClassDojo started as a classroom management tool, which teachers can use to reward and influence good conduct at school. Beyond this, it has grown into a communication platform for teachers, students and their families, used by 95% of schools in the US, with a total of over 51 million users worldwide.
ClassDojo has had an interesting journey since its 2011 launch, growing steadily but struggling to turn a profit for almost a decade. However, the launch of its monetized communication app and tripled revenue as online learning became the norm during the pandemic propelled ClassDojo to success.
This success has led to significant venture capital investment, which is intended to evolve the company once more, from a communication app into an extracurricular learning platform and creative space for current ClassDojo users. The size and loyalty of ClassDojo’s user base, as well as the company’s sure-footed survival and growth over the last decade led to the company acquiring Y Combinator graduates Prendea in 2022, expanding its operations into Latin America and solidifying a promising future for the company.
