Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in finance, with a track record of success in high-growth SaaS or technology companies
- Proven expertise in scaling financial operations in venture-backed organizations
- Experience in enterprise software preferred
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with experience presenting to boards and investors
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
What the job involves
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute the company’s financial strategy, aligning it with short- and long-term goals
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning, fundraising, and market expansion efforts
- Provide actionable insights into business performance to guide decision-making and resource allocation
- Oversee all aspects of accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GAAP standards, and tax obligations
- Optimize financial processes, implementing systems and tools to support scalability and efficiency
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to evaluate ROI on investments, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition costs
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations for market opportunities, product launches, and strategic initiatives
- Monitor key performance metrics and identify trends to support continuous improvement
- Serve as the financial lead in fundraising activities, including preparing materials and engaging with investors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, ensuring transparency and trust
- Communicate the company’s financial performance and outlook to stakeholders
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
- Mentor and develop team members, enabling professional growth and operational excellence

ConductorOne is an identity security company that helps IT and Security teams by automating least privilege and compliance while reducing risk. Its platform works through out-of-the-box integration services - such as Okta, GitHub, Slack, and Datadog – to automate identity security, thus enabling companies to understand what is happening across the company and what actions could be having an impact on someone’s program access permissions.
The company launched its Access Request product in March 2023, providing self-service access requests to employees via Slack or a web catalogue, automatic approval rating, and zero-touch provisioning, saving IT teams time by eliminating complex provisioning processes. Its expanded Series-A funding round was led by Accel and Felicis Ventures. This has enabled the company to focus on accelerating growth as it seeks to expand operations.
