Who you are
- 3+ years supporting payroll functions with multiple employee populations, regional, salaried, commissioned, a plus
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Google Suite
- Familiarity with HRIS systems. Ultipro knowledge a plus
- Excellent organizational and process skills with a demonstrated ability to work on multiple priorities at once
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Strong team player with a collaborative work style
- Excellent communication skills to effectively correspond, both verbally and in writing, using phone, voicemail, and email with various levels in the company and the external community
What the job involves
- We are seeking an extremely detail-oriented individual to support the functions of our Payroll Department. This is a short term, temporary position with possibility of extension
- Process payrolls for all team members
- Process off-cycle payments to team members as needed
- Serve as point of contact for all payroll-related matters in the West and North Central Regions, and backup point of contact for all other regions
- Assist in processing personnel actions and providing security access within HRIS as needed for payroll functions
- Process and respond to wage attachments
- Maintain and update Google Forms housing HR and Payroll information and requests
- Assist the Payroll Team with special projects and programs as requested
- Utilize reporting to audit timesheets and payroll and provide payroll reporting to other teams as required
