Data Operations Engineer, Vannevar

• Experience with Python

• U.S. Person status is required as this position will require the ability to access U.S. only data systems with the ability to obtain security clearance

• You will be responsible for developing and operating features for our data collection infrastructure
• The role includes a broad set of responsibilities from identifying and integrating external data sources to maintaining access to those data sources by employing best practices in operational security, automation, and alerting
• You will be a coordinating between teams across the company to prioritize development efforts and identify bug fixes
• As a founding member of the team your decisions today will have a large impact on the company today and into the future

• Develop innovative solutions scraping data from various online sources
• Employ operational security best practices to ensure anonymous data collection
• Be a liaison between mission and engineering teams on data collection issues such as bug triage, communication of outages, understanding priorities, etc
• Creating and maintaining reporting and alerting around ongoing data collections
• Develop processes to ensure a coordinated data collection effort
• Implement testing automation to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Write technical documentation
