What the job involves
- Generating quality opportunities for honeycomb sales teams through creativity and experimentation utilizing emails, phone calls, and social selling
- Continually learning, trying new things, and working to better understand our product, our users, our industry, common industry challenges, competitive solutions and new ways to prospect
- Effectively managing, qualify and convert inbound leads. This means managing your own inbound pipeline, and staying on top of tasks and follow-ups to ensure that no prospects fall through the cracks
- Executing thoughtful research as part of your account planning that demonstrates a strong knowledge of the prospect’s industry, current technology stack, competition, and business goals to support effective outbound motions
- Conducting high-level qualification and discovery conversations in strategic accounts. Be confident owning and leading a call with a prospect or group of prospects, levering MEDDPICC and Command of the Message to drive the opportunity forward
- Partnering closely with experienced sales professionals, who are motivated to see you succeed and develop your skill set
- Providing timely and accurate forecasts, based on evidence and not hope, and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively handling your pipeline of conversations and opportunities

Our take
Traditional processes of debugging apps and IT services are becoming obsolete due to the mass adoption of cloud-based tools. However, whilst cloud-based development presents a modern and unified solution to application building, frameworks for troubleshooting such services are not something all businesses are prepared for.
Honeycomb provides troubleshooting tools that allow cloud-based software developers to observe code on API tools, live applications and microservices. The troubleshooting dashboard is designed to be highly visual and user-friendly, allowing developers to diagnose cloud-based problems without having a deep understanding of computer science.
The company is building momentum after impressive revenue growth and a robust amount of funding. This is being channelled into geographical expansion and the development of its offerings. In 2025, Honeycomb signed a three-year strategic collaboration agreement with AWS and launched several new product advancements.
