Role
Who you are
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, professional services, product management, or a similar role, preferably in financial services or financial technology
- Strong ability to design/architect solutions that maximizes benefit to the client while maintaining best practices and adhering to FISPAN’s technical framework
- Experienced in creating technical documentation, including process workflows and requirements documents
- Strong presence and effective at communicating complex ideas in a simple way as well as advocating to executive level stakeholders
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical specifications, transforming complex details into accessible, user-friendly content
- Comprehensive knowledge of connectivity standards such as authentication, encryption, secure transmission, and APIs
- Familiarity with data standards such as XML and JSON
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences
- Proven relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners
- Highly motivated, self-directed individual who can manage multiple initiatives and meet tight deadlines
- Prior experience in financial services or financial technology is highly desirable
What the job involves
- As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in FISPAN's Solutions Team, collaborating across departments to ensure the success of FISPAN's products
- This role involves engaging directly with bank partners to become their trusted technical consultant
- You will lead technical and strategic discussions, architect efficient technology solutions, and design go to market strategies
- We are seeking an individual who is proactive, driven, has a hunger to constantly learn, and can maximize their impact on the business through innovation and strategic communication
- Partner with Sales team members as the FISPAN product subject matter expert in the sales cycle
- Engage with bank partners through requirements discovery and strategic consulting sessions
- Develop, lead, and deliver technical workshops and customized product demonstrations
- Participate in online and in-person webinars, events, and presentations
- Align with Product on future roadmaps and provide feedback on released features and industry trends
- Mentoring and coaching the Sales team on technical aspects of the FISPAN products
- Engage with FISPAN partners and prospects to deliver customized product demonstrations tailored to their unique needs
- Leverage market and technical expertise to provide strategic consultation during the sales cycle. This includes designing optimal technology and go-to-market solutions
- Collaborate with sales, product, and service operations teams to develop optimal go-to-market strategies for FISPAN products
- Lead internal strategic initiatives aimed at automating and improving FISPAN processes to drive efficiency and revenue growth

It’s no help that this group has historically been radically underserved by legacy banks, but now the tide is turning: many banking institutions are doubling down on improving the quality and efficiency of their commercial banking solutions, and software company FISPAN is helping them get there.
FISPAN helps companies embed their commercial banking services into the existing ERP or accounting software their customers use to run their business. It’s a great way for banks to outsource the level of innovation required to keep up with commercial client demand - and, therefore, a great way of competing with the more agile neobanks, who are siphoning off legacy banking clients in substantial numbers.
FISPAN’s astute positioning has made its platform increasingly attractive for banks under pressure to keep up with the break-neck pace of change in fintech. It’s taking advantage of it too, with plans to expand to the lucrative European and Asian Pacific banking markets.
