What the job involves
- As a Senior Backend Software Engineer joining the WHOOP e-commerce platform team, you will develop the core infrastructure responsible for both order fulfillment and subscription management. You will work closely with our systems team to ensure our integrations are scalable, maintainable, and adaptive to the global market. This role requires a strong knowledge of backend architecture and API design
- Help execute WHOOP's vision to build/scale an ecommerce platform that allows WHOOP to offer memberships and accessories to our members
- Contribute to backend development: Java, AWS and Postgres
- Interface with e-commerce platforms: CommerceTools and Stripe
- Work collaboratively in a business growth environment with a product and technical vision
- Consistently deliver features and code with an iterative approach
- Coach and up-level engineers in your team and neighboring teams through direct and indirect mentorship
