Accounting Analyst, GoDaddy

• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proven understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• 2+ years experience in accounting, finance, or a related role
• Strong understanding of month-end processes
• Strong knowledge of accounting theory, US GAAP and related experience, with accounting research and application
• Experience working with general ledger and statutory audits, preferably for international entities
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Analyst to join our finance team
• The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, preparing and posting journals, conducting financial analysis, and assisting with statutory audits
• Prepare, review, and post month-end journals in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
• Perform detailed analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and identify variances
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare, coordinate, and work with employees at various levels and functions of the company to prepare the general ledger for multiple international entities
• Effectively align with appropriate departments and third parties to gather necessary data to close the general ledger
• Support external audit requests and inquiries by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and provide supporting documentation for statutory audits
• Maintain and improve internal controls compliance for accounting functions and participate in procedure documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency of accounting operations
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
