• The accounting team is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards
• The accounting team consists of the corporate accounting team, technical accounting and financial reporting, revenue accounting, and accounts receivable teams

• This role is to lead a four-person team that manages the accounting close, accounts payable, and payroll processes
• We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on accounting leader to help scale Aurora’s financial operations as we grow
• Reporting to the Controller, you’ll lead a four-person team responsible for the general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll
• You’ll drive accuracy, accountability, and process improvement, ensuring Aurora remains audit-ready and GAAP-compliant as we scale
• Plan and implement the accounting close process and related activities to ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal financial policies
• Manage complex accounting processes for software development, allocations, stock-based compensation, commission capitalization, intercompany and consolidation
• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, benefits accounting, and quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
• Oversee all Accounts Payable functions including expense reporting and accruals
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and identify key trends in the P&L and balance sheet
• Lead preparation for annual financial audit, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders
• Champion team growth through mentorship and hands-on leadership
• Build scalable systems that drive efficiency and transparency
