What the job involves
- We're looking for a placement student to join our software team
- As a valued member of the team, you'll collaborate with passionate people to bring our industry-leading interfaces to life
- At Focusrite you’ll discover how we love to innovate with products such as Scarlett, Clarett, and RedNet
- You'll be assigned a mentor who will work closely with you to develop existing skills, and to support you in learning the new tools and techniques you encounter
- Develop software as part of an Agile team
- Learn and adapt quickly in response to feedback
- Engage in test-driven development, code reviews, and pair programming
- Doing a 12-month placement at Focusrite is like becoming one of the family

Legacy audio engineering company Focusrite has been developing audio interfaces since the late 1980s. Founded by Rupert Neve, an electronics designer whose customers included The Beatles and Nirvana, Focusrite has continued developing interfaces and preamps based on his work.
